The CSI is a software component that enables secure transactions over the internet, using digital certificates.

You need to install CSI to install your digital certificate and use our online services.

For more information on CSI, go to www.csi.business.gov.au

1.2 - Digital certificate and PIN

Before downloading a certificate, you must have the CSI software installed on your system and you will need to have the Digital Certificate PIN letter (containing your PIN). If you don't have this item, please contact the Technical Help Desk (see Contact us below).

1.3 - System requirements:

To run the Common Signing Interface (CSI) once installed you will require a:

Java runtime engine version 1.4.2_06 to be installed on your computer. Security flaws have been discovered in previous versions of java. Although the CSI software will function with previous versions of java it is strongly recommended that you install version 1.4.2_06.
